Dr Rachel Carling-Jenkins
Dr Rachel Carling-Jenkins is a member for Western Metropolitan in the upper house of the Victorian Parliament, representing the Democratic Labour Party (DLP).

Rachel has worked in the welfare sector since she was 17 and holds a PhD in social sciences, where she studied social movements supporting people with disabilities, Indigenous Australians and women in Australia. Rachel has had the privilege of working with many amazing people and organisations. She has presented throughout the world at international conferences, contributing to the fields of disability, dementia and social movements. In 2014, Rachel had her first book published.
